Allows for two different methods of chimney resupport. First method is used at the immediate section of chimney above the upper elbow of an offset. Second method is used primarily when the immediate sections of the upper offset do not pass through a joist area and resupport is necessary. Support band is clamped around the chimney immediately below a locking band. Straps are nailed to suitable framing at two inch clearance.

Installs quickly and eliminates need for using individual firestops. Round shielding acts as a radiation shield and provides the required 2" air space clearance to combustibles. The 2 sections telescope to accommodate 6" to 11" wall thickness. The hole opening in the faceplate for No. 206463 is 8.25"; for No. 207463 - 9.25"; and No. 208463 - 10.25".

For use in retrofit installations, this part can be installed from below with a finish support package and secured with screws. Note: Not for use with coal burning stoves.
