Indicator light to show tripped or "end of life" condition. Safety feature stops all power to the receptacle if the GFCI protection fails or is mis-wired. Trip threshold (5ma+/-1ma) and response time (0.025 sec.) meet Class A requirements. Color-matched and recessed test and reset buttons. Impact-resistant thermoplastic construction with thermoplastic wallplate included. 8 separate backwiring holes accept up to #10 AWG stranded or solid wire, for maximum flexibility. Line terminal screws are backed out, staked, ready to wire. Device and wallplate mounting screws are captive, speeding installation time. Ground screw backwiring clamp for fast, secure termination. Back and side wired.  UL Listed. Meets all UL Hospital Grade requirements.
