Mar-resistant end caps on all rail ends provide rail protection for longer life and protect work surface from marring. Heavy-duty plated steel swivel safety shoes with thick rubber tread. QUICKLATCH equipped runglock provides easier method of securing fly base sections when extended. Tempered, serrated aluminum D-shaped rungs provide for a slip-resistant surface. Two extra heavy-duty outside slide guides secured to top of base section with four rivets per guide for maximum strength. Dimensions for 16': Rails 3-1/4" wide; 1.2" Rail flange; 1.626" Rung; Base outside width 17-1/16"; Fly outside width 16-1/16". Dimensions for 40': Rails 3-5/16" wide;  Rail flange; Rung; Base outside width 17-11/16"; Fly outside width 16-11/16". Meets or exceeds the safety standards set by ANSI and OSHA. FE3216 does not include rope and pulley.
